AI eyes: new tech aims for perfect vision after cataract surgery

NCT ID NCT07202767

Summary

This study aims to improve the accuracy of calculating the power for artificial lenses implanted during cataract surgery. Researchers will use different eye scanning devices and artificial intelligence to measure and predict the size of the natural lens, a factor not currently used in standard calculations. The goal is to develop a more precise method to help patients achieve better long-term vision after their procedure.
