AI-Powered ECG alerts could catch silent heart rhythm problems before they strike
NCT ID NCT06847932
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether an artificial intelligence system can help doctors spot hidden atrial fibrillation (AF) early by analyzing standard ECG results. About 15,000 patients will be randomly assigned to have their ECGs reviewed with or without the AI alert. The goal is to see if the AI helps identify more people who need further heart monitoring and treatment, potentially preventing strokes and other complications.
