Summary
This study aims to build an AI system that combines blood tests, tumor genetics, and scans to detect leftover cancer cells (minimal residual disease) earlier in people with rectal cancer. About 700 adults who plan to have surgery for rectal or esophageal cancer will join. The goal is to improve how doctors predict if cancer will come back, without giving any new treatment.
