Summary
This study tested how accurately an artificial intelligence (AI) program could identify the number of root canals in a specific lower back molar. Researchers used dental scans from 40 adult patients who needed root canal treatment on these teeth. The goal was to see if AI could be a reliable tool to help dentists plan this common dental procedure.
