First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study is testing a new, affordable way to screen for cervical cancer using artificial intelligence. It analyzes urine samples and cervical images to detect high-risk HPV and precancerous changes. The goal is to provide a one-stop screening and triage system that works in low-resource settings. About 3,200 unscreened women aged 25-49 in Zimbabwe will take part.
