AI boosts accuracy in staging early esophageal cancer

Summary
This study tests an artificial intelligence system that helps doctors read ultrasound images to determine how deep early esophageal cancer has spread. About 200 adults with suspicious esophageal findings will be enrolled. The goal is to see if AI can improve the accuracy of cancer staging compared to standard methods, which could lead to better treatment choices.
