Summary
This study will test a smartphone app that uses artificial intelligence to teach hemodialysis patients how to take better care of themselves, including caring for their arteriovenous fistula (the access point for dialysis). The app provides personalized lessons, reminders, and a way to ask questions. Researchers will see if using the app for six weeks improves patients' self-care habits and key health measures like kidney function and mineral levels.
