NCT ID NCT04284904
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study measured specific proteins in the blood of 500 stem cell transplant patients to see if they could predict acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD), a serious complication. Researchers tracked these proteins every two weeks for three months after transplant. The goal was to create a risk rating system to help doctors diagnose and treat aGVHD earlier, potentially improving survival and reducing relapse.
