Can living on a farm make you healthier? a texas study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT06950775
Summary
This study aims to understand if living in a neighborhood built around a farm (an 'agrihood') improves people's health compared to living in a regular neighborhood. Researchers will follow 600 residents from two similar Texas communities for a year, tracking their diet, physical activity, weight, blood pressure, and social connections. The goal is to gather evidence on whether this type of community design supports healthier lifestyles.
