Summary

This study is testing an investigational drug called aficamten in Japanese adults with a specific heart condition where the heart muscle becomes too thick, making it hard to pump blood. The main goal is to see if taking aficamten daily for 6 months improves how well blood flows out of the heart and reduces symptoms like shortness of breath.
