First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether advancing sleep timing (going to bed and waking up earlier) can improve depression symptoms. 150 adults with moderate to severe depression, recently discharged from a psychiatric ward, will either receive usual care or a psychotherapeutic program focused on shifting their sleep earlier. The goal is to see if this simple change can ease depression.
