New combo attack on liver cancer: adding targeted procedures to immunotherapy shows promise

NCT ID NCT07157969

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding interventional procedures (like targeted chemo or radiation) to standard immunotherapy and targeted therapy can better control advanced liver cancer. About 300 adults with advanced liver cancer will be split into two groups: one gets only drug therapy, the other gets drug therapy plus interventional procedures. Researchers will measure how well tumors shrink, how long patients live, and any side effects.
