New combo therapy aims to ease ADHD symptoms in kids

NCT ID NCT05492422

First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study combines two treatments for children aged 8-12 with ADHD: a computer program that boosts working memory (Central Executive Training) and a class for parents to improve behavior management (Behavioral Parent Training). Researchers want to see if doing the memory training first makes the parent training work better. About 200 children will take part, and the goal is to reduce ADHD symptoms and improve daily life.
