First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether a common ADHD medication (Adderall XR) can reduce ADHD symptoms in children and teens aged 8-18 who also have autism. About 196 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 4 weeks, and some will have brain scans to see how the medication affects brain activity. The goal is to better understand treatment options for this specific group.
