Summary
This study tested two methods of giving the drug adenosine to people with a rapid heart rhythm called supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). 131 adults in the emergency room received the drug either through one syringe or two syringes. The goal was to see which technique more effectively restored a normal heart rate after the first dose.
