New combo therapy shows promise for stomach cancer patients

Summary
This study tests a combination of an immunotherapy drug (adebrelimab) with three chemotherapy drugs given before and after surgery for people with locally advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can completely eliminate the tumor before surgery and prevent it from coming back. About 61 adults who have not had prior treatment will participate, and those who undergo surgery will continue treatment for up to a year.
