New drug combo aims to shrink stomach tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests whether adding two drugs (adebrelimab and apatinib) to standard chemotherapy (SOX) before surgery can shrink tumors more effectively in people with locally advanced stomach cancer. About 118 adults aged 18-75 with HER2-negative stomach cancer that cannot be removed right away will participate. The main goal is to see how many patients have no cancer cells left in the removed tissue after treatment.
