AI-Powered scans could speed up lung cancer radiation treatment
NCT ID NCT07259447
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Sep 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether new AI tools can make adaptive radiotherapy—adjusting radiation plans during treatment—faster and easier for people with advanced lung cancer. Researchers will measure how long each step takes and compare plan quality using standard CT scans versus daily cone-beam CT scans. About 30 participants will be involved, and the goal is to see if these modern tools can reduce extra scans and manual work without sacrificing accuracy.

- Phase
-
Not a phased trial
Phase numbers describe drug development. The registry uses this when they do not apply, as it does for trials of devices, procedures or behaviour changes, and for observational studies.
- Participants
