NCT ID NCT07058519
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study is for people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (EGFR mutation-positive). After initial treatment with the drug osimertinib plus chemotherapy, doctors will use a simple blood test to look for cancer DNA. If the DNA disappears, patients may be able to stop chemotherapy temporarily and take only osimertinib, with regular blood monitoring. The goal is to see if this personalized approach can keep the cancer under control while giving patients a break from chemotherapy side effects.
