Summary
This study is testing a new type of deep brain stimulation (DBS) system for people with severe Parkinson's disease. The system is designed to be 'adaptive,' meaning it can read a patient's brain signals and automatically adjust its electrical stimulation in response. Researchers are also comparing the effects of stimulating two different brain areas to see which works best for controlling symptoms.
