First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested whether taking abiraterone on an on-and-off schedule could help men with advanced prostate cancer respond to the drug longer and maintain their daily function. Nineteen men whose cancer had stopped responding to standard treatment participated. Researchers measured PSA levels and cancer progression to see if the adaptive schedule was effective.
