New study brings obesity help to kids who need it most

Summary
This study aims to make a proven obesity treatment program, called COACH, available to children in rural and minority communities who often lack access. The program helps children, their parents, and local community centers work together to support healthy habits. Researchers will test the adapted program with 750 children aged 6-12 and their families in Middle Tennessee.
