First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether acupuncture or the drug letrozole helps women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) have a baby. Over 1,100 women were split into four groups: personalized acupuncture, fixed acupuncture, letrozole, or a placebo. They received treatment for 16 weeks, and the main goal was to see how many gave birth. The results help understand which approach works best for improving fertility in PCOS.
