First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests if adding Motion Style Acupuncture Treatment (MSAT) to standard Korean medicine helps people with shoulder pain from car accidents. About 98 adults will be randomly assigned to get either MSAT plus standard care or standard care alone. The treatment involves inserting needles and gently moving the shoulder. Researchers will measure pain, movement, and daily function during a 5-day hospital stay and follow up by phone after 2 weeks and 1 month.
