Can acupuncture help stroke survivors swallow again?

Summary
This study looks at whether acupuncture can improve swallowing problems after a stroke. Over 3,000 adults who had a stroke within the past year and have trouble swallowing will receive either acupuncture combined with standard care or standard care alone. Researchers will measure improvement using a swallowing scale and also evaluate cost-effectiveness.
