Summary

This study tests whether acupuncture can reduce pain and the need for painkillers after hemorrhoid surgery. One hundred adults having conventional hemorrhoidectomy will receive either real acupuncture or a sham procedure over the first five days after surgery. Researchers will track pain levels, painkiller use, and recovery quality for two weeks.
