First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether acupuncture, with or without daily self-acupressure, can reduce hot flashes in 200 women with BRCA gene mutations who have had their ovaries removed. All participants will receive weekly acupuncture for 8 weeks, and half will also practice acupressure at home. The goal is to improve quality of life and provide a safe, drug-free option for managing hot flashes.
