Summary
This study tested whether adding acupuncture to standard recovery care helps colon cancer patients recover faster after surgery. 70 adults were split into two groups: one received standard care, the other also got acupuncture sessions. Results showed that the acupuncture group passed gas about 23 hours sooner, had less pain, and went home about one day earlier on average.
