Hospitals test wearable trackers to get patients moving
NCT ID NCT06784011
Summary
This study tested whether using activity sensors (like fitness trackers) is practical in a hospital setting. Researchers had 19 hospitalized patients wear the sensors to see how much extra time it took staff to use them and if patients found them comfortable. The goal was to gather information to help make patient care more personalized by better understanding their activity levels.
