Playful plan aims to get heart surgery kids moving
NCT ID NCT04619745
Summary
This study tested whether a 6-month, parent-led play program could help young children with congenital heart defects meet daily activity goals after surgery or catheterization. Researchers worked with 43 children to see if personalized activity plans could prevent sedentary habits and support motor skill development. The goal was to gather information to design a larger future trial.
