Summary
This study aims to adapt the Action Falls programme—originally designed for care homes—so it can help older adults who receive home care avoid falls and injuries. Researchers will observe home care visits and interview older adults, their families, and care workers to understand what changes are needed. The focus is on rural and coastal areas in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. A future study will test the adapted programme.
