Summary
This study tested a group therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for people struggling with problematic chemsex—using drugs to enhance sex. 36 adults who reported distress and high hypersexuality scores took part. The goal was to see if ACT could reduce hypersexual behavior and drug abuse. Results are not yet available, but the approach aims to ease symptoms and improve quality of life.
