New hope for dementia patients: 52-week trial targets psychosis symptoms

Summary

This study tests a drug called ACP-204 for people with Lewy body dementia who experience psychosis (hallucinations or delusions). Over 52 weeks, researchers will monitor safety and side effects in 126 adults who previously completed an earlier phase of the trial. The goal is to see if long-term treatment can help control these distressing symptoms.
