NCT ID NCT07544251
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how two antibiotics for acne, sarecycline and doxycycline, change the bacteria living in your gut and on your skin. Researchers will track 30 people with acne to see if these drugs increase antibiotic-resistant bacteria or alter the balance of fungi and other microbes. The goal is to understand the broader effects of these treatments beyond just clearing pimples.
