First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving teens a numbing shot (adductor canal block) before ACL surgery improves their recovery compared to standard anesthesia alone. About 38 participants aged 10-18 will be randomly assigned to receive the block or not. Researchers will measure pain, opioid use, and satisfaction up to 6 weeks after surgery.
