Summary
This study looks at two different tendon grafts used to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the knee. Researchers want to see if one type of tendon heals better and causes less change to the bone tunnels than the other. About 58 people who need ACL surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either a peroneus longus tendon or a hamstring tendon graft. They will be followed for one year with MRI and CT scans to check how well the graft heals and how the bone tunnels change.
