This study looked at 48 runners to see if running on the road versus a treadmill changes the Achilles tendon structure, muscle strength, balance, and body awareness. Runners who trained mostly on one surface were compared using ultrasound and physical tests. The goal is to understand if the running surface affects injury risk.
