First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study compares a new exercise program tailored to individual muscle structure with the standard Alfredson protocol for people with Achilles tendinopathy (mid-portion tendon pain lasting at least 3 months). Twenty adults will be randomly assigned to one of the two programs. The goal is to see which approach better reduces pain, improves strength and function, and promotes tendon healing using ultrasound and performance tests.
