NCT ID NCT07378618

First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study compared two computer-assisted methods for placing tiny screws (miniscrews) in the roof of the mouth to help with orthodontic treatment. Forty people who needed these screws were randomly assigned to have them placed using either a static guide (a custom-made template) or a dynamic guide (real-time navigation). The goal was to see which method placed the screws more accurately by measuring how much the actual position differed from the planned position.
