First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested two high-tech methods for placing tiny screws in the roof of the mouth to help with braces. Forty people were split into two groups: one used a custom 3D-printed guide, the other used real-time computer navigation. The goal was to see which method placed the screws more accurately. Results will help orthodontists choose the best technique for precise screw placement.
