Summary
This study tested a new type of catheter (CymActive) designed to be more comfortable for men who need a catheter for a long time due to urinary retention (trouble emptying the bladder). Six men took part, comparing the new catheter to the standard Foley catheter. The main goal was to see if the new catheter improved quality of life and reduced pain over about 90 days.
