First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether an accelerated schedule of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is safe and tolerable for people with psychotic disorders like schizophrenia. About 20 adults aged 18-65 with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or early warning signs of psychosis will receive TMS and be monitored for side effects. Researchers will also use MRI scans to see if brain connectivity changes relate to symptom improvement.
