First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a new 5-day accelerated version of TMS, a brain stimulation treatment already approved for depression and OCD. Researchers want to see if this faster approach can quickly improve symptoms and use brain scans to predict who benefits most. 500 adults with depression or OCD will receive daily TMS sessions for 5 days, with the option of a second course if needed.
