New study explores less invasive prostate cancer treatments

Summary
This study is testing ablative therapies—treatments that destroy cancer cells with heat or cold—for men with localized prostate cancer. Researchers want to see how well these treatments control cancer and affect quality of life, including urinary and sexual function. The study will enroll 225 men and follow them for at least a year.
