First human tests begin for new drug candidate

Summary
This is a very early study to test the safety of a new drug called ABBV-142 in healthy people. Researchers will give different single doses to 73 healthy adult volunteers to see how the body handles the drug and if it causes any side effects. The study also includes a specific group of healthy Asian volunteers to check for any differences in how their bodies process the drug.
