First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at how often people who have had a bleeding brain aneurysm also have an abdominal aortic aneurysm (a bulge in the main belly artery). About 233 adults who had a brain aneurysm bleed at least one year ago will get a painless belly ultrasound. The goal is to learn how common this hidden condition is, so doctors can decide if routine screening is worthwhile.
