New scan could pinpoint Hormone-Making adrenal tumors without invasive tests

NCT ID NCT07605156

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new type of PET/CT scan (68Ga-Pentixafor) to see if it can accurately identify which adrenal gland is making too much hormone in people with a specific adrenal condition (PA+MACS). About 130 adults will get the scan and have their results compared with standard tests and surgery outcomes. The goal is to see if this scan can replace or improve current methods for guiding treatment.
