First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a once-daily 5% minoxidil foam can help women with androgenetic alopecia (female pattern baldness) regrow hair. About 294 women aged 18 and older with mild to moderate hair loss will use the foam or a placebo for 24 weeks. The main goal is to measure changes in hair count in a small area of the scalp.
