First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study compares two modern ways to make dental fillings: 3D printing and CAD-CAM (computer-aided design and manufacturing). Twelve adults with two cavities will get one type of filling on each tooth, and researchers will check how well they look, function, and affect gum health over two years. The goal is to see if one method is better for restoring teeth.
