Personalized 3D-Printed spacer aims to ease bunion surgery recovery
NCT ID NCT07267156
Summary
This study is testing a new, custom-made 3D-printed toe spacer designed to improve comfort and healing after bunion surgery. It will compare the new spacer to the standard folded gauze spacer in 40 adults having the operation. The goal is to see if the personalized spacer is more comfortable for patients and better at keeping the corrected toe in the right position during recovery.
