First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested whether a 3D imaging device helps doctors more accurately classify colon polyps and adenomas during a colonoscopy compared to standard 2D imaging. About 460 adults with colorectal polyps took part. The goal was to see if 3D views improve diagnosis and guide the right treatment, while also checking for any side effects.
